Gondkar Won the ‘Maha IT– Idol 2018’ Competition

Pune : Yash Uday Gondkar from Thadomal Shahani Engg. College, Bandra in Mumbai bagged the title of ‘Maha IT Idol’ 2018 while Sagar Ajage of Institute of Management Studies Career Development and Research, Ahmednagar was the 1st runner up and Harsh Hitesh Kshatriya from Atharva College of Engineering, Kandivali, Mumbai got the third position. The winners of this one a kind competition were declared and felicitated during a ceremonious event recently held in Pune.

The winners were awarded at the hands of Narendra Barhate, MD & CEO - SEED Infotech and Bharati Barhate, Executive Director, SEED Infotech respectively.

Gondkar was felicitated with the prestigious Puneri Pagadi, Uparane and Acer Laptop. Sagar Ajage was awarded with a Moto C Plus Smartphone while Kshatriya was awarded with Western Digital 2TB External Hard Disk in this competition. Winners were also presented with various goodies such as Certificate, 100% Discount Gift voucher from SEED Infotech, goody bag from Tricentis. Also, trophies, Medals of Merits were given to next 10 competing students apart from 10 finalists.

SEED Infotech Ltd., a leading IT Training, Consulting and Staffing organization has been undertaking the SEED IT Idol initiative across Maharashtra since past 8 years. The major objective of this state level competition is to judge and reward the knowledge of a student in Computer Fundamentals and C programming and prepare them for the competitive examinations in future.

Due to the very nature of the initiative most of the universities in the state associate with it and extend all possible support for taking it to maximum number of students. Thus, various universities partner with this exercise in their jurisdiction. Renowned universities like Savitribai Phule Pune University, Mumbai University, Shree. Shivaji University – Kolhapur, Solapur University, supported this competition in their respective regions.

More than 50,000 students from about 273 Engineering and Technical Education colleges across the state of Maharashtra participated in SEED IT Idol, 2018competition.

‘SEED Maha IT Idol 2018’ was a competition between the Top Ten Finalists of ‘SEED IT Idol, 2018’ who made it through the second round of the SEED IT Idol, 2018. They all were invited to Pune to be a part of ‘Maha IT Idol 2018’. This was the 5th consecutive year of the SEED Maha IT Idol which was held at Hotel Sheraton Grand in Pune.
