Bharati Vidyapeeth signed 'MOU' with CESS Nuffield-Flame University

Pune : Bharati Vidyapeeth University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CESS Nuffield-Flame University for jointly organizing research based programs and organized first workshop as part of the MOU was a 'Management Development Program' on “Sales Transformation and Customer Engagement”.

Taking the collaboration to the next level, a Workshop was planned for the faculty members of 'IMED' on fourth Dec 2018. The theme of the Workshop was 'Research Methods and Design' organized at the FLAME University campus in Lavale. The objective was to explore and discuss research methods and design. It was a day long interactive get-together at FLAME University campus.

Dr. Sharon Barnhardt, Director, CESS Nuffield , Dr. Pavan Mamidi, Director CESS Nuffield-Flame University guided participants in this workshop.  Saumya Sampat, research Associate from CEES Nuffiled-Flame University welcomed all the participants. Sonali Khurjekar presented vote of thanks.

Saumya Sampat welcomed all the participants after acknowledging the efforts by Chancellor, Bharati vidyapeeth (deemed to be) University, Prof. Dr. Shivajirao Kadam for initialing the MOU and Dr. Sachin Vernekar, Dean-FMS, Director, 'IMED' for deputing the faculty members for the Workshop.

The session began with an introduction to Centre for Experimental Social Sciences (CESS) Nuffiled by Dr. Barnhardt. She briefed about the various research projects undertaken by CESS Nuffield-Flame University in collaboration with other researchers. Dr. Barnhardt explained the different types of research to all the participants while incorporating the examples from them. This made the understanding more effective for all the faculty members.

The second session was conducted by Dr. Mamidi. The focus of his talk was on situations from daily life to identify research problems. It was a very interactive session with all participants suggesting research problems and identifying them with their type i.e. descriptive, co-relative or causal.

The workshop concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by Sonali Khurjekar. All the participants were taken for a campus tour by the research team of CESS Nuffield-Flame University.

By inviting & spending quality time with the 'Special Children' of Kamayani School, the Trustees & Management of Punyadham Ashram, have really brought Sunshine & Cheerful memories.. to the differently challenged children Kudos to all concerned at Punyadham Ashram.
