Board of Control for Cricket In India may get its new administrators on Monday, when Supreme Court declares the appointees. BCCI and the Central Government successfully argued that they should also be permitted to suggest names along with the Amicus Curiae, Gopal Subramanian and Anil Diwan. Gopal Subramanian and Anil Diwan had submitted nine names to the Apex court for the appointment of administrators in the cricketing body.
The Supreme Court had initially sought names only from amicus curiae, Anil Divan and Gopal Subramaniam, for appointing the administrators. On January 24, it deferred the decision to announce the names of administrators till January 30 after successful argument by BCCI and the central government.
